Kerlingarfjöll

Amazing inland adventure
We start by flying over Glymur, Iceland’s highest waterfall. From there we continue to Langjökull Glacier for our first stop. After some selfies, we take off from the glacier and head to Kerlingafjöll, which is a gorgeous geothermal area in the highlands. We land next to a mountain hut, enjoy some refreshments or explore the area. After this 30-45 min. stop, we head south again following Iceland’s longest river Thjórsá, exploring its river rapids and small waterfalls on the way. Our last stop will be at Háifoss, one of Iceland’s most beautiful waterfalls. On our way home, we fly by Thingvellir National Park and view the Continental rift which separates the two tectonic plates of North America and Eurasia. From Thingvellir it is a short flight back home after an amazing day in the air.
